Second-year defensive tackle Michael Hall had a breakout performance against Notre Dame. But while his big night may have caught Buckeye fans and even Fighting Irish players and coaches by surprise, his teammates knew it was coming.

This week, several of them said Hall’s unique blend of explosiveness and strength reminded them of a future pro football Hall of Famer.
