Until there is either realignment in the Big Ten or the removal of divisions, each and every year we have to talk about a game against Rutgers. Now, we don’t fault Rutgers for taking the opportunity to join the Big Ten, it was a smart move on their part, and we don’t even blame Jim Delany for taking Rutgers (and it was about more than just the NYC market, folks). But, it does not make for really compelling football, at least against the Buckeyes.

    Except for players’ names, did you have to change any words?
    I know what you are saying but I try to change all of the words from week-to-week.

    Sometimes that is a challenge.
  2. Absolutely. It is funny because I went into writing the piece expecting a rout, now I am expecting worse.
    There is no doubt that it could easily be worse than a route if Ryan Day allowed it. My advice to Rutgers is to stay on the bus and take the forfeit 😉
