Ohio State redshirt freshman safety Jantzen Dunn is putting his name into the transfer portal.
Ohio State has confirmed Dunn’s intentions, which were first reported by Pat Murphy of 247Sports.
Dunn played in four games this year, all on special teams. He played in two games as a true freshman last year, seeing time on defense against Akron.
The Buckeyes signed Dunn out of Bowling Green, Kentucky where he was a 4-star prospect in the 2021 class.
He is now the third defensive back from the 2021 class to transfer and the fourth player from the class overall to leave Ohio State. Safety Jaylen Johnson announced his intention to leave earlier this month. Fellow safety Andre Turrentine left in the spring.
Quarterback Quinn Ewers was the first departure for the 2021 class a little over a year ago.
