The Missing Key: Shorthanded Buckeyes Fall To Maryland

Three days after dropping a heartbreaker at home against No. 1 Purdue, the Ohio State men’s basketball team hit the road to face Maryland, but did so without injured Zed Key.

Starting three freshmen, the undersized Buckeyes struggled on the glass and on defense in an 80-73 loss to the Terrapins.

So what will this mean for Ohio State moving forward? Tony Gerdeman of BuckeyeHuddle.com joins host Tom Orr to discuss that and more.

  • How long will Key be out?
  • Why did Maryland’s full-court press give the Buckeyes so much trouble?
  • What will it all mean with a stretch of challenging but winnable games coming up?
