When Ole Miss freshman cornerback Davison Igbinosun announced his transfer to Ohio State, he immediately made the Buckeyes deeper and more experienced in the secondary.
Igbinosun enrolled early as a true freshman in 2022 and ended up winning a starting job for head coach Lane Kiffin by the season opener. He held onto the job for nine games before giving way to fifth-year senior Miles Battle for three games. Call it hitting the Freshman Wall, if you like.
