Toledo Central Catholic offensive lineman Marc Nave has announced his commitment to Ohio State.
Nave (6-5 315) is a three-star guard in the 2024 class who has added significant offers over the course of the last six months. Indiana was the first Power 5 school to offer in the new year, followed by Cincinnati, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Missouri, and Purdue.
The Buckeyes jumped into the mix with an offer on January 31. That was followed by offers from Auburn, Louisville, and others.
Nave is ranked the No. 28 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 class, and the No. 18 player in the state of Ohio. He was a Second-Team All-State selection in 2022 in helping his Central Catholic squad to a Division II state title.
Nave visited Ohio State for the opening of spring practice on March 7.
The Buckeyes now have two offensive linemen committed in the class of 2024. Nave joins New Palestine, Indiana prospect Ian Moore. Moore (6-5 295) is ranked the No. 3 interior offensive line prospect in the nation, but he could very well end up at tackle in college.
Ohio State also has a commitment from 5-star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, who is the No. 2 prospect in the class overall. Smith attends Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Hollywood, Florida.
The fourth member of the class is linebacker Garrett Stover (6-0 195), out of Big Walnut High School in Sunbury, Ohio. This is expected to be a relatively large class for Ohio State.
