It has been a busy couple of weeks since the end of Ohio State’s spring football practices. Three Buckeyes have decided to enter the transfer portal, and now Ryan Day’s program is welcoming in three players who left other programs and who could end up as part of OSU’s program this fall.
All three have ties to the Ohio State coaching staff, and each could help improve the Buckeyes in 2023 and beyond.
Tony Gerdeman of BuckeyeHuddle.com joins host Tom Orr to break down where each of them could fit in at Ohio State.
- Former Notre Dame WR Lorenzo Styles, Jr., who switched to cornerback just before entering the portal.
- Former Ole Miss DT Tywone Malone, who could become the second former Rebel defender to jump to Columbus this offseason.
- Former San Diego State RT Josh Simmons, who could provide an answer to the biggest question on this year’s Ohio State depth chart.
