Every one of Ohio State’s national championship seasons since 1950 but one has been led by a first-year starting quarterback.

Is that just a coincidence, or is there something about a first-year starter that brings out the best in Buckeye football teams?

And more importantly, will first-year starter Kyle McCord or Devin Brown be able to add to that championship history in 2023?
