With a massive road showdown against Notre Dame on deck, the Ohio State football team needed a solid performance against Western Kentucky to settle some nerves around Columbus.

Following the Buckeyes’ 63-10 shellacking of the Hilltoppers, it’s fair to wonder just how much that blowout indicates that this year’s OSU team is ready for the challenge it will face in South Bend.

  1. The only real issue to this point was ryan days play calling on offense…. We’ll see how the defense truly stands up next week, but no glaring issues outside of allowing his team to actually play …
