The transfer portal is going to be a huge priority for most college programs over the next several weeks and Ohio State will be looking for help at multiple positions, including the defensive line.
On Thursday, former Middle Tennessee State defensive tackle Marley Cook announced on Twitter that he picked up an offer from Ohio State.
Since announcing his intentions to enter the transfer portal, Cook has received numerous offers, including Miami (FL), Tennessee, Baylor, TCU, Missouri, Cal, Kansas, Louisville, and Boston College, among others.
At the moment, two visits have been setup.
“Miami next week (the 8th) and Ohio State the week after that (the 15th),” Cook informed BuckeyeHuddle.com on Thursday afternoon.
Cook is coming off a junior season in which he recorded 22 tackles and a sack. As a sophomore, he recorded 23 tackles and 6.5 sacks. Cook is a grad-transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.
Keep it locked in at BuckeyeHuddle.com as the transfer portal season picks up next week.
