Five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton announced on Friday that he would be taking his final official visit to Ohio State this weekend.
Seaton, who attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, is the No. 1 offensive tackle in the 2024 class per the 247Sports Composite.
Seaton (6-5 287) is the No. 15 player in the nation overall and the No. 4 prospect in the state of Florida. His first official visit was to Alabama back in June, then he took an October trip to Florida, followed by November official visits to Colorado and Tennessee. He also took an unofficial visit to Oregon in October.
To date, there are no 247Sports Crystal Ball projections for Seaton, and only one FutureCast projection on Rivals, which was made for Alabama back in early August.
Ohio State currently has four offensive linemen committed in the 2024 recruiting class. New Palestine, Indiana prospect Ian Moore (6-5 295) is the highest-ranked of OSU’s offensive line commitments. He is the No. 7 interior lineman in the nation and the No. 187 player overall. His future could very well be at tackle for the Buckeyes, however.
Gabe Van Sickle (6-5 283) was a recent flip from Northwestern. He is the No. 10 player in the state of Michigan and the No. 22 interior line prospect in the class.
Lakewood St. Edward brothers Devontae and Deonte Armstrong currently round out the offensive line class for the Buckeyes. Devontae is projected as a guard while Deonte projects to tackle for Ohio State.
The Buckeyes would love to land Jordan Seaton, and finally getting him on campus is the first major step in making that happen. Expect Seaton to have the full attention of Ohio State offensive line coach Justin Frye this weekend. In fact, the Buckeyes may want to make it all hands on deck if at all possible.
Early signing day this year is Wednesday December 20.
