It is not over until it is over.
Now it is over.
The Buckeyes held off late pushes from both Alabama and Clemson for five-star defensive end Eddrick Houston out of Buford (Ga.).
To say that people were a little nervous would be an understatement as Ohio State’s defensive line numbers were not exactly robust. A loss of Houston would have been an absolute catastrophe.
But all worked out in the end and now the Buckeyes get one of their crown jewels on defense.
What is Ohio State getting here? We talk about it in our signing day capsule.
