Five-Star Cornerback Aaron Scott Makes It Official With His Signature

It is always important to keep the top players at home and the Buckeyes were able to do that with Springfield (Ohio) cornerback Aaron Scott.

There were some tense moments as other programs, including Michigan, all tried to sway the five-star corner and put dreams of venturing off into his head.

But the Buckeyes were able to hold everyone off when it came to the 6-foot-2, 190-pound cornerback.

In a class full of stars, it could be easy to lose track of how important this signing actually is. But we are fully aware of it, as you are.

A state championship remained elusive for Scott as Springfield made it to the championship game multiple times during his high school career, but was elusive.

Now the chase for a Big Ten title and more begins for Scott as his LOI is in and he can officially call himself a Buckeye.
