Ohio State defensive tackle Mike Hall has announced that he will be foregoing the final two years of his eligibility and is entering the 2024 NFL Draft.
Hall, a redshirt sophomore, finished the 2023 season with 24 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks.
For his career, Hall leaves Ohio State with 45 career tackles, 10.0 career tackles for loss, and 6.0 career sacks. Hall had 4.5 sacks in his first five games in the 2022 season, and just 1.5 in the 19 games after.
Injuries have hampered Hall throughout his career, though he was relatively healthy this past season.
A quick, yet undersized defensive tackle at 280 pounds, Hall spent most of his time at Ohio State as a nose tackle, but that is not where he projects in the pros.
The 2024 NFL Draft takes place this spring, with the first round occurring Thursday April 25. The second and third rounds are on April 26, and the rest of the draft will take place on April 27.
Hall is expected to be a second or third-day selection.
