A lot has happened in the world of Ohio State football and recruiting during the month of January. After a dismal performance in the Cotton Bowl, the Buckeyes have made coaching changes, landed big-time high school recruits, and made major splashes in the transfer portal.
The latest big splash was landing super Alabama safety Caleb Downs on Friday over Georgia. But the Buckeyes may not be done yet with the Alabama roster. Five-star class of 2024 quarterback Julian Sayin entered the portal and the Buckeyes are among his top choices.
Will Ohio State greenlight a second QB in the 2024 class? Should they? Would it be worrisome to the health of the room to add yet another big name player?
In the latest edition of the Skull Session Recruiting Podcast, we report the latest on the Julian Sayin situation, assess the Buckeyes’ decision making process, and discuss some of the other huge recent news in the world of Ohio State recruiting.
