Ohio State has been on quite a run on the recruiting trail so far in January and the Buckeyes will soon know their fate with the top offensive lineman in the state of Ohio as Toledo Whitmer standout Carter Lowe set his decision date on Monday.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound offensive tackle will announce his decision on Saturday at 3 PM with the Buckeyes, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, and Tennessee as his finalists.
Lowe has been Ohio State’s top priority along the offensive line since the very early stages of his recruiting process and was back on campus this weekend as part of the Buckeyes’ big junior day festivities.
While this has mostly been a Michigan vs. Ohio State battle for most of his process, Lowe did make the rounds nationally over the past several months giving several SEC programs a look.
Buckeye Huddle’s sources have indicated that Ohio State has picked up a lot of momentum in this recruitment in recent months and the world will know for sure if that’s the case on Saturday afternoon.
Lowe is the No. 2 ranked prospect in the Buckeye Huddle Ohio prospect rankings for the class of 2025.
