One of Ohio State’s top offensive line targets cut his list of schools on Friday as Mobile (AL) Vigor star Micah DeBose announced that he is down to 10 schools.
Not surprisingly, Ohio State made the cut for the Top 100 prospect. The list is SEC heavy, however, with the Buckeyes joining Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and USC among the finalists for the four-star prospect.
DeBose has made multiple visits to Ohio State over the past two years and is a native of Cleveland (Ohio). But the Buckeyes are the only program north of the Mason-Dixon line on DeBose’s list of top schools.
Still, Ohio State is expected to get an official visit from DeBose this summer as offensive line coach Justin Frye continues to make the 6-foot-5, 320-pound prospect one of his top recruiting priorities.
