COLUMBUS — Another Ohio State transfer is officially a Buckeye. Following OSU’s practice on Tuesday, it was announced that transfer running back Quinshon Judkins was officially being welcomed into the fold as a Buckeye by having the black stripe on his helmet removed.
Judkins transferred to Ohio State from Ole Miss where he was a two-time First-Team All-SEC performer, totaling 2,725 yards rushing in his career to this point. He has 14 100-yard rushing games in his 26 career appearances. He has scored at least one touchdown in 21 of those 26 games.
Judkins is expected to pair with Ohio State senior running back TreVeyon Henderson this year to form one of the best backfield tandems in America.
The Buckeyes brought in six transfers this winter. Four of them still have their black stripes. The full list is below.
Ohio State will be on the field for practice No. 7 of camp on Thursday. This Saturday will be the annual Student Appreciation Day practice which is open to a select number of students.
