One of Ohio State’s top class of 2026 recruiting targets was back on campus over the weekend in Suwanee (Ga.) Collins Hill defensive lineman Deuce Geralds. The 6-foot-3, 250-pound prospect continues to be impressed each and every time he makes it up to Columbus.
“Ohio State’s spring game was incredible,” Geralds told BuckeyeHuddle.com. “The talent from players and great coaching from the coaches really showed. My visit was great also. Ohio State never seems to disappoint every time I come up here.”
As is the case with most of Ohio State’s defensive line targets, Geralds has been building a strong relationship with defensive line coach Larry Johnson and Johnson’s pedigree and coaching style is a major plus for the Buckeyes in this recruitment.
“The incredible workouts that Coach Johnson put players through during warmups impressed me the most,” he said. “The coaches let it be known they wanted me and I was a top priority.”
It’s early, and Geralds has dozens of scholarship offers, but it’s clear that the Buckeyes are doing a great job early on with the Peach State star.
“They sit high in my recruiting,” he added. “Everything about Ohio State is top tier. Coaching, facilities, players, and most of all the development.”
Geralds has made several visits to Ohio State already and should be expected back on campus at some point in the coming months.
