Brody Keefe Keeps Coming Back To Ohio State

COLUMBUS – Tuesday was a big day at the Ohio State camp with many top quarterbacks in attendance and that was an added bonus for the receivers who took part in the one-day event. One of the top receivers on the field was class of 2026 wide receiver Brody Keefe out of Charlotte (N.C.).

The four-star wideout already holds an Ohio State offer going into the camp but wanted a chance to work more with wide receivers coach Brian Hartline and have an opportunity to work on his craft.

“Anytime I can come and show my ability in front of Coach Hartline, get coached by him, I’ll take the opportunity every time,” Keefe said after the Tuesday camp.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder already holds close to two-dozen offers and is a top-250 prospect according to the services. Keefe has been no stranger in visiting Ohio State and at this point it is just more about the relationships than it is about learning what Ohio State offers, not only as a program, but also as a school and a potential future home.

“I feel like every time I come here, I learn something new, and (coach Hartline) is just filled with knowledge, especially at my position,” Keefe said. “I think that’s just really important, and then building that relationship more and more, and just trying to get that connection as far as possible.”

Ohio State and Tennessee appear to be two of the schools that have made the biggest impact so far with Keefe, but there is a long way to go with this recruitment. That has not slowed the Buckeyes down in trying to close the deal.

A visit to Alabama over the weekend will be followed by a visit to Tennessee before Keefe really starts to lock things down for preparation for his junior season at Myers Park high school.

And then everything will get a little crazy when coaches are able to contact members of the class of 2026 directly in accordance with NCAA guidelines.

“I’m going to get blown up,” Keefe joked. “I’m going to try to prepare as best as I can, but I know it’s going to be a pretty overwhelming experience. So, I’m just going to try to do my best with that.”
