Buckeyes Finalize Men’s Basketball Roster With Pair Of Additions

COLUMBUS — Ohio State men’s basketball coach Jake Diebler announced the finalization of his first full roster with the additions of transfer guard Ques Glover and Croation center Ivan Njegovan.

“I’m excited for both Ques and Ivan as I think they are both are great additions to our program,” Diebler said in a release. “Ques is a veteran guard that has played at a high level in the collegiate game. Adding his experience and playmaking strengthens an already talented backcourt. Ivan is a good young big man with high level international experience. His skill and size will add to our depth in the front court.”

Glover is a 5-foot-11 guard who spent last season at Kansas State but did not play due to injury. He began his career at Florida and then spent two years at Samford. As a junior at Samford he scored 19.2 points per game and handed out 4.4 assist per game.

He averaged 17.4 points per game in his two seasons at Samford, earning All-SoCon honors each season.

Njegovan is a 7-foot-1 center from Zadar, Croatia who competed in the U20 European Championships for the Croatian team this summer. He averaged 6.1 points and 6.6 rebounds in seven games. He finished the tournament with 15 points and 16 rebounds against Bulgaria. Njegovan also blocked three shots.

The past three seasons have seen Njegovan playing in the ABA and Croatian Premier Leagues.

Glover is being brought in as a walk-on. Njegovan will occupy the final scholarship for the Buckeyes.
