Ohio State has started its 2027 recruiting class with a huge boom. As the win over Indiana was coming to a close on Saturday afternoon, Five-star Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne wide receiver Jamier Brown made his pledge to the Buckeyes.
Considered a Top 10 prospect nationally, Brown just wrapped up a dominant sophomore season at Wayne where he recorded 63 receptions for 1,035 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Brown’s commitment kicks off a huge recruiting weekend for the Buckeyes with five-star offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. making a surprise visit and the Buckeyes hosting two official visitors as well as several key targets in the 2026 class.
