On the heels of his official visit to Ohio State, Cartersville (Ga.) cornerback Jordyn Woods has flipped his commitment from the University of Cincinnati to the Buckeyes.
Ohio State has been looking to add to its cornerback class for a while now and identified Woods early this fall. Since that point, things had steadily moved in the Buckeyes’ direction with Woods making multiple visits to Columbus this fall.
“The big atmosphere that they play in,” Woods told BuckeyeHuddle.com recently about what has piqued his interest in Ohio State. “And they develop and produce many players that go to the NFL.”
At 6-foot-4, Woods gives the Buckeyes tremendous size and versatility in the secondary with the athleticism of a cornerback but the physicality of a safety.
Ohio State is still working on Michigan State commit Aydan West as well as trying to keep five-star commit Na’eem Offord in the fold with schools such as Auburn and Oregon trying to flip Offord.
