Ohio State has landed a Thanksgiving commitment from four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) Bolles School tight end Corbyn Fordham. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound prospect committed to the Buckeyes over offers from Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, and many others to become the third class of 2026 commitment for Ohio State.
All three of Ohio State’s class of 2026 commitments are pass catchers as Fordham joins wide receivers Chris Henry Jr. and Jaeden Ricketts in the class for the Buckeyes.
Fordham recently visited Ohio State for the win over Purdue. The Buckeyes had been considered a strong favorite for Fordham since his June visit and camp performance and, likewise, Fordham emerged from that trip as a major priority target for the Buckeyes.
Now he’s in the fold for Ohio State who will likely be looking to add another tight end in that class by the time the dust settles.
Fordham is also the teammate of four-star safety/linebacker prospect Simeon Caldwell who holds an offer from the Buckeyes and is the nephew of cornerbacks coach Tim Walton. Caldwell will be on campus again this weekend for the Michigan game.
Fordham gives the Buckeyes a versatile tight end prospect. A willing blocker, but a skill route-runner and pass catcher, Fordham is a complete tight end and a big-time add for the Buckeyes’ 2026 recruiting efforts.
