The flips were flowing all over the college football world on Wednesday. Ohio State was on both ends of the equation during the course of day, but finished with a bang by landing four-star St. John Bosco (Ca.) defensive end Epi Sitanilei.
Sitanilei flipped to the Buckeyes after being committed to UCLA for several months. He also considered USC down the stretch, but Ohio State made a big late push, including getting the four-star prospect and his family on campus for the last visit weekend of the season.
Sitanilei’s pledge helps ease the sting of the Buckeyes having two EDGE players decommit late in the process in London Merritt and Zahir Mathis.
A star at St. John Bosco, the Buckeyes have recruited that school hard over the years, landing players such as Wyatt Davis and Kourt Williams. Sitanilei is a pure EDGE prospect who joins another big-time pass rusher in Alabama star Zion Grady in signing with Ohio State today.
Stay tuned to BuckeyeHuddle.com throughout the day for more news and updates on Signing Day for the class of 2025.
