Ohio State freshman quarterback Air Noland has entered the transfer portal, BuckeyeHuddle.com has confirmed. Noland was a consensus Top 100 recruit coming out of Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes High in the 2024 recruiting class.
Noland ended up being part of a two-quarterback class in Columbus with fellow highly touted recruit Julian Sayin showing up last winter after transferring from Alabama in the wake of Nick Saban’s retirement.
Noland did not see any game action in his first year on campus in Columbus and will have four years of eligibility remaining at his next stop. As a top 10 quarterback prospect in the 2024 class, it is expected there will be a substantial market for Noland who fell behind Sayin early in the spring on the depth chart but still has the pedigree and physical tools that will intrigue Power Four programs.
