Ross Fulton Analysis: How Ohio State’s Offense Dominated Notre Dame

To steal a line from a million click-bait internet articles, the Ohio State offense used one weird trick to put up a huge day against the Notre Dame defense and win the national championship.

Ross Fulton, the Xs and Os guru at BuckeyeHuddle.com, joins host Tom Orr to take a deep dive on how the run game concept windback, and a number of different iterations off of it, played a central role in how Ryan Day and Chip Kelly diced up the Fighting Irish defense. 

The Buckeyes ran windback on the first play of the game, and then spent the next three hours working off of that concept for big plays in both the pass and run game.

Ross breaks down how they did it, plus a look at the 56-yard pass to Jeremiah Smith that helped clinch the win.
