Report: Keenan Bailey Being Named Ohio State Co-Offensive Coordinator

Ohio State tight ends coach Keenan Bailey is being named co-offensive coordinator per a report from ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Bailey is now in his third year as OSU’s tight ends coach.

In his first two years, Bailey’s tight ends have put up big numbers (Cade Stover, 41-567-5 in 2023) and played in big numbers — the Buckeyes played five tight ends regularly in 2024.

Keenan Bailey came to Ohio State in 2016 as an offensive intern with the Buckeye running backs. Then he spent two years with the receivers before being named a Quality Control coach for the Buckeye quarterbacks from 2019-2021.

In 2022, he moved his focus to the offensive line while also being named Special Assistant to head coach Ryan Day.

Bailey has now had his hands in every offensive position in his career with the Buckeyes.

At last month’s national championship celebration, Day called Bailey the hardest-working coach on the staff. He has also a reputation as a very good recruiter.

In 2021, Bailey was named one of 247Sports’ top 30 coaches under the age of 30.

Ohio State has not yet confirmed the report.
