Ohio State has worked hard in recent months to make up ground in the chase for five-star Nixa (Mo.) offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell. That work paid off with the Buckeyes getting the 6-foot-8, 305-pound prospect on campus for the very first time in mid-December.
Since then, the Buckeyes have underwent some staff changes, most notably for Cantwell the departure of offensive line coach Justin Frye to the NFL, with former Virginia Tech staffer Tyler Bowen replacing Frye.
But that didn’t stop Ohio State from making Cantwell’s Top Six, and now the Buckeyes are scheduled to get a return visit from the nation’s top-ranked offensive tackle prospect.
Cantwell took to X on Wednesday morning to announce a few new unofficial visits, including his return to Columbus on March 20th.

While Ohio State is in Cantwell’s top six, and has clearly made up a lot of ground based on where this recruitment stood six months ago, the Buckeyes still have plenty of work to do to here. But a second unofficial visit in three months is a good start.
Georgia, Miami (FL), Michigan, Missouri and Oregon round out Cantwell’s top six.
