Ohio State has landed a commitment from 2026 offensive lineman Maxwell Riley.
Riley announced the news via social media.

Riley (6-5 280) is ranked the No. 9 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 114 player in the 2026 class overall per the 247Sports Composite.
Riley attends Avon Lake High School and is the top offensive lineman in the state. He also represents the first verbal commitment for new Ohio State offensive line coach Tyler Bowen.
Riley chose the Buckeyes over offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Michigan, and many others.
Ohio State now has five commitments in the 2026 class. Riley joins receivers Chris Henry, Jr. and Jaeden Ricketts, as well as tight end Corbyn Fordham on the offensive side of the ball. Cornerback commit Jakob Weatherspoon is from Avon, Ohio.
Buckeye Huddle will have more on this commitment soon.
