For the second consecutive day, Ohio State has added an offensive tackle prospect to its 2026 recruiting class. On Wednesday, it was Glendale (Ariz.) O’Connor High School standout Tucker Smith giving the Buckeyes his pledge.
The 6-foot-5, 280-pound prospect chose Ohio State over offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Iowa State, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, USC, Washington, and others, to become the third offensive lineman in the Buckeyes’ 2026 recruiting class.
Smith didn’t take long to ponder whether or not he wanted to be a Buckeye. The three-star prospect was offered by Ohio State just five days ago after a spring visit to Columbus.
Scott joins in-state stars Maxwell Riley and Sam Greer in what should be a big offensive line class for the Buckeyes as new O-Line coach Tyler Bowen continues to make his presence felt on the recruiting trail.
