CHARLOTTE – Four-star EDGE Aiden Harris was one of many top recruits that attended last season’s Ohio State/Michigan game. Following the devastating 13-10 loss, many around the nation had left the Buckeyes for dead in terms of the National Championship race.
But Harris was in the locker room with the Buckeye players and coaches after the game and got a totally different vibe.
“After the Michigan game, you could tell that they were ready to go back to work,” Harris told BuckeyeHuddle.com this weekend. “You could just see it. When you play a rivalry game, it just turns you up to a different mode. You could just tell they were ready.”
“You could tell by the talk that they had, the message they were saying in the locker room” Harris continued. “You could just tell that they were ready to get back to work with what was said and what was done.”
Harris and his twin brother, Andrew, have been top priorities for Ohio State and defensive line coach Larry Johnson and the Buckeyes remain a major contender.
“We’re just working on getting an official visit setup,” Harris explained. “Just waiting on the process (to play out) and get that visit setup. That will most likely be in June or (it could be) a game day visit.”
The Harris Twins are very likely to sign with the same program in December and the pitch has been simple from Johnson and Co.
“He just wants us to come up there and show our talent,” he said. “He knows what we’re capable of. So he’s just waiting for me and Andrew to make the decision and lock in.”
