After four Buckeyes went in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft on Thursday, three more were selected Friday in the second round.
Running back Quinshon Judkins was the first Ohio State player off the board in the second round. He was selected by the Cleveland Browns with the No. 36 pick overall. Running back TreVeyon Henderson went two picks later to the New England Patriots and new head coach Mike Vrabel.
The duo rushed for over 1,000 yards each last season, and have finished their careers with remarkably similar rushing totals. Judkins rushed for 3,785 yards in his career, while Henderson posted 3,761 rushing yards in his career.
Defensive end JT Tuimoloau went 45th overall to the Indianapolis Colts.
In total, seven Buckeyes were selected in the top 45 picks overall.
There were no Ohio State players selected in the third round. The draft will finish up on Saturday with rounds four through seven. The Buckeyes who attended the NFL Combine who have yet to be selected are quarterback Will Howard, center Seth McLaughlin, defensive end Jack Sawyer, defensive tackle Ty Hamilton, linebacker Cody Simon, cornerbacks Denzel Burke and Jordan Hancock, and safety Lathan Ransom.
Tight end Gee Scott, Jr. and Josh Fryar are also hoping to hear their names called on Saturday.
The first round of the draft featured receiver Emeka Egbuka going to Tampa Bay with the 19th pick, guard Donovan Jackson to Minnesota with the 24th pick, defensive tackle Tyleik Williams going to Detroit with the 28th pick, and left tackle Josh Simmons going to Kansas City with the 32nd pick.
The 2025 NFL Draft will get back underway at 12:00 pm on Saturday.
