West Virginia redshirt freshman offensive lineman Justin Terry is transferring to Ohio State. Terry announced the move via social media.
Terry (6-6 330) did not see any action last year as a true freshman but was named Scout Team Player of the Week in the lead up to the Mountaineers’ game against Kansas.
Terry is originally from Central Ohio where he attended Pickerington Central High School. He is now the third Buckeye on the 2025 team from Pickerington Central, joining brothers Sonny Styles and Lorenzo Styles, Jr.
As a high school recruit, Terry was ranked the No. 147 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 1,874 player overall. He was ranked the No. 81 player in the state of Ohio State. He signed with West Virginia over offers from Appalachian State, Toledo, Bowling Green, and others.
Terry did not allow a sack as a senior and also added 26 pancake blocks.
Following the Ohio State spring game, head coach Ryan Day said the Buckeyes were two short on their desired number on the offensive line. This addition gets them one closer.
The spring transfer portal window has officially closed, but those currently in the portal are still free to move about the cabin.
