Deuce Geralds Sets Official Visit to Ohio State

SUWANEE, Ga. — Long-time Ohio State defensive line target Deuce Geralds has set his official visit to Ohio State, the four-star prospect informed BuckeyeHuddle.com during our Southern Swing recruiting tour.

The Buckeyes have been recruiting Geralds for three years, making him one of Ohio State’s longest standing priority targets in the 2026 class. Now they’ll get Geralds’ last official visit, the weekend of June 20th.

“I plan on taking official visits to Ole Miss, LSU, Oregon, and Ohio State,” Geralds said. “I plan on taking my official visit to Ohio State on June 20th to the 22nd, which is like the last OV date of the summer.”

Ohio State getting the final visit Geralds wasn’t a coincidence, the four-star prospect says he’s keeping his promise to Buckeye defensive line coach Larry Johnson.

“Coach Johnson has a way that he wants to recruit,” Geralds continued. “He let me know that that’s when he wanted me to visit. He actually told me (that he wanted to be the last OV) a while back, like right around when he offered me. He kept his word (during the recruiting process) so I’m keeping my word and that’s how I’ll be moving forward with my Ohio State visit.”

Geralds has been to Columbus numerous times so there isn’t much that he hasn’t seen from the Ohio State program at this point. His visit this spring, however, did give him some new insight into the Ohio State defense moving forward.

“I got to connect with the new DC, Matt Patricia,” Geralds explained. “That was really great talking to him, with his resume of being in the NFL for years and years. So it was great being around him, getting to meet him and the way he’s going to run the defense and the attitude he’s going to bring to the defense.”
