A huge recruiting month is on deck for Ohio State as the Buckeyes will host their first group of official visitors this coming weekend. Four-star Cleveland (OH) Glenville linebacker Cincere Johnson won’t be among that group, he’ll make his visit to Columbus the weekend of June 13th.
The Buckeyes will find out shortly after that visit whether or not they’ll be landing the long-time priority target. Johnson announced a decision date of June 19th, just three days after he is set to leave Ohio State’s campus for his final official visit.
Johnson will decide between Alabama, Ohio State, and Penn State. He just made his official visit to Penn State last week, and he’ll be on Alabama’s campus this coming weekend before that mid-June return to Columbus.
Ohio State is still in on a few big-time linebacker prospects with Johnson, Tyler Atkinson, and Xavier Griffin still considering the Buckeyes, but there’s no question that Johnson has been a priority for a long-time for Ohio State and a prospect that the coaching staff feels it needs to land this cycle.
They’ll get that answer in just a few weeks.
