Ohio State and Navy are set to meet in Ohio Stadium on September 1, 2029 to open the season.
In order to make that date work, Ohio State has pushed a game against Nevada already slated for that day to the following season. The Buckeyes will now host Nevada on September 7, 2030.
Ohio State has also announced that they added Youngstown State to the 2029 schedule. That game is set for September 15 of that year.
The Buckeyes still have a non-conference game availability for the season opener in 2030. Given that they also have a game at Georgia that season, don’t expect a major opponent.
Here are the future non-conference schedules for Ohio State.

All of this, of course, is subject to change.
