Every summer on the Ohio State campus, some of the nation’s top prospects take part in the several one-day camps that OSU holds. This past week was no different, as four 2025 running backs were on hand who have already been offered by Ohio State.
On Monday, it was Mater Dei High School (Santa Ana, CA) prospect Jordon Davison, and then on Thursday it was Villa Angela St. Joe’s Bo Jackson, Cleveland Heights’ Marquise Davis, and Humble, Texas prospect Tory Blaylock.
Davison (5-11 210) is the No. 1 running back in the 2025 class per the 247Sports Composite. He holds offers from OSU, Alabama, Georgia, and everyone else you would expect. Davison rushed for 1,514 yards last year as a sophomore, averaging 8.9 yards per carry.
Davis (6-0 190) is ranked the No. 11 running back per the Composite. He just added an offer from Michigan a few weeks ago. As a sophomore, he rushed for 869 yards on just 74 carries. Ohio State extended an offer to him back in late January.
Jackson (6-1 190) is the No. 7 athlete in the class and is arguably the top player in Ohio in the 2025 cycle. Notre Dame, Michigan, and Tennessee have all offered this spring.
Blaylock (5-11 175) made the trip from Texas where he attends Atascocita High School. He is ranked the No. 13 tailback in the 2025 class, and is also the son of former NFL running back Derrick Blaylock.
The Buckeyes currently have three running backs committed in the 2024 class, and they are expected to take two more in the 2025 class. There is a high likelihood that those two were on campus this week working out for OSU running backs coach Tony Alford.
But which two will they be?
In the video below you can get a feel for each of the four and their respective abilities.
