PICKERINGTON, Ohio – It has been a big move forward for Ohio State running back commit Sam Williams-Dixon as he made his move from West Holmes high school to Pickerington North.
His Panthers team is now 2-0 and the season is starting to heat up.
“Oh yeah, it is a different level up here,” Williams-Dixon said after his Pickerington North team defeated Pine-Richland, 35-14 on Saturday. “You are getting hit harder, the game is a lot faster, I am adapting to it great.”
Williams-Dixon was kept somewhat in check this week after a pair of big touchdown runs during his week one game. Most high schools would be jealous to have the depth that Pickerington North has at running back. How does everyone stay happy?
“Everyone is going to have their night,” Williams-Dixon said. “Michael Taylor had his night tonight; I had my night last week.
Williams-Dixon has been a part of the Ohio State recruiting class for quite some time now, so the pressure of making a decision is off of him.
While many recruiting services have the Buckeyes listed as the No. 2 team in the recruiting rankings, but Williams-Dixon was quick to point out the Buckeyes are number one.
What is left on the board for Ohio State’s 21-man class?
“We are definitely talking to a couple more O-linemen,” Williams-Dixon said. “We are just going to keep on recruiting.”
