MADISON, WI — The Ohio State (7-0, 4-0) offense will be close to full strength today when the Buckeyes take on the 5-2 (3-1) Wisconsin Badgers.
Ohio State released its injury report for Saturday’s game, and running back TreVeyon Henderson and receiver Emeka Egbuka are no longer listed. Henderson hasn’t played since he went for 104 yards on the ground against Notre Dame. He has missed OSU’s last three contests.
Henderson still leads the Buckeyes with 295 yards rushing, despite being third in carries (44). He is averaging 6.7 yards per carry this season. Ohio State has only rushed for 97.7 yards per game in his absence this year.
Egbuka has missed the last two games after injuring his ankle in the win over Maryland. He is currently third on the team with 22 receptions for 303 yards. It remains to be seen how much he will actually play tonight, but his return gives the Badger defense another Buckeye to worry about.
Also expected back this week is starting cornerback Denzel Burke. Burke missed last week’s victory over Penn State.
Running back Miyan Williams, who carried the ball 24 times last week, is listed as unavailable this week. Williams is currently third on the team in rushing for the Buckeyes with 158 yards.
Backup quarterback Devin Brown is also out after suffering an lower leg injury against Penn State. He is expected to be out for a couple of weeks. The backup quarterback job now belongs to Oregon State transfer Tristan Gebbia, who is a seventh-year senior.
Reserve safety Ja’Had Carter is also out.
There are no players listed as questionable.
