The hype keeps building around Ohio State freshman wide receiver Jeremiah Smith. The former five-star and No. 1 overall prospect in the 2024 recruiting class has made a smooth transition to the collegiate level, establishing himself as one of the Buckeyes’ top receivers during spring practice.
Coming off a dazzling performance at last Saturday’s open scrimmage, Smith was at it again this week, making an unbelievable one-handed touchdown grab in the end zone.
The catch was made during a closed practice, but such greatness cannot be left in the dark so the Ohio State creative team gave us a glimpse of Smith’s highlight reel catch, posting it on the official Ohio State football twitter account on Saturday.
Take a look:
Smith has been running with the starters in recent practices and is trending toward being a rare true freshman opening day starter for the Ohio State football program.
