The Buckeyes have landed a commitment from 2025 four-star Cleveland guard Dorian Jones.
Jones, who attends Richmond Heights High School, announced his commitment via YouTube.
“I will be committing to The Ohio State University,” he announced.
Jones (6-4 16) is ranked the No. 12 shooting guard in the class per the 247Sports Composite and the No. 72 player overall. He is the No. 2 player in the state.
The Buckeyes landed Jones over offers from Michigan, Rutgers, Missouri, Arizona State, Syracuse, Texas, A&M, and others.
Jones was a First-Team All-State selection this past season. He averaged 14.1 points per game.
Ohio State now has one commitment in the 2025 recruiting class.
The top player in the state is 6-11 forward Niko Bundalo who attends Western Reserve Academy in Hudson. He is ranked the No. 24 player in the nation.
