The Ohio State defense has definitely lived up to its high expectations through two weeks of the season, holding Akron and Western Michigan to just six points total, and limiting the Broncos to just 99 yards of total offense. But defensive coordinator Jim Knowles and the Silver Bullets aren’t resting on their laurels this week. It is “Improvement Week” inside the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, and Knowles has some specific thoughts on where the Buckeye defense still needs to get better.
In this episode of the Buckeyes TomOrrow Morning podcast, you’ll hear directly from Knowles on that, as well as the strong play of Buckeye safeties like Lathan Ransom and Caleb Downs, and second-year standouts like Arvell Reese, Jermaine Mathews, and Kayden McDonald, who are seemingly on their way to earning bigger roles this fall.
