I know that you are not going to find a more focused Buckeye this week than Denzel Burke. He is still quite pissed at the ejection for targeting. He came back this season for a purpose and he believes the refs robbed him of some of his purpose against Western Michigan.
I think there are still things Jim Knowles wants to do with the Will linebacker at the line of scrimmage. We saw some of it in fall camp. That could be a way to get more out of CJ Hicks as a linebacker until everybody gets on board with what his next step is.
I wonder which defensive statistic is more impressive: that the Buckeyes have not allowed an opponent inside the red zone or that the opponent has only reached OSU territory on five of 16 possessions – and one of them went to the Ohio State 49-yard line.
