Jim Knowles and the Ohio State defense had been among the very best in the nation through five games of the 2024 season, but when they traveled west to take on the Oregon Ducks, things went bad pretty quickly.
Oregon rolled up 32 points and nearly 500 yards of total offense – at 7.6 yards per play – to hand the Buckeyes their first loss of the year. And while fans were quick to point a finger at a few specific plays and players, as always, the true cause of the issues was complicated.
In this episode of the Buckeyes TomOrrow Morning podcast, BuckeyeHuddle.com Xs and Os guru Ross Fulton breaks down the issues he saw and what can be done to fix them.
