HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Chaminade-Madonna wide receiver Jeremiah Smith Jr. ultimately showed why he is the nation’s top junior prospect at his position on Friday night. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound prospect had a relatively quiet evening in the battle of South Florida against American Heritage. Then, with his team needing a big play to put the game away, Smith took a slant, bounced off a defender, and raced 87 yards for a touchdown to put the game on ice.
