The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes improved to 9-1 on the 2024 college football season with a 31-7 win over Northwestern inside historic Wrigley Field.
The game provided a once-in-a-lifetime chance for Buckeye fans to see their team play in the legendary home of the Chicago Cubs, and those fans made the most of the chance, packing the stadium in scarlet and gray.
Northwestern started the game well, stringing together two long drives and taking a 7-0 lead in the second quarter before the Buckeyes came alive, scoring 28 unanswered points in just over 10 minutes of game time to seize control of the matchup.
Sophomore WR Carnell Tate recorded a pair of touchdown catches in his first college game back in his hometown of Chicago.
