The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes handed No. 5 Indiana its first loss of the season, overcoming an early 7-0 deficit to run off 31 consecutive points behind a dominating defensive performance, a pair of big plays on special teams, and an efficient day on offense.
Caleb Downs returned a punt for a touchdown, the first time a Buckeye accomplished that in 10 years and one day. Jalin Marshall last did that on November 22, 2014, also against Indiana and also in the week before the Buckeyes hosted Michigan.
It was also a big day for recruiting, as 5-star OT David Sanders made a surprise visit to campus.
