COLUMBUS — Ohio State redshirt sophomore Kojo Antwi is headed to the transfer portal.
The news was first reported by ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Antwi caught one pass for eight yards this season. He will have two years remaining.
Antwi’s departure now closes the book on Ohio State’s 2022 receiving class that consisted of Antwi, Kyion Grayes, Kaleb Brown, and Caleb Burton. They combined for three career catches for 15 yards.
Antwi was the No. 115 player in the nation and the No. 19 receiver in the class per 247Sports. Brown was the No. 78 player, while Burton and Grayes were Nos. 71 and 63, respectively.
The Buckeyes have now lost three players to the transfer portal in each of the past three days. Fourth-year junior receiver Jayden Ballard announced his departure on Tuesday and redshirt sophomore linebacker Gabe Powers on Monday.
The transfer portal does not officially open until December 9, and closes on December 28.
