The Ohio State Buckeyes stunned the top-ranked Oregon Ducks with a 34-point first-half explosion en route to a 41-21 win in the 2025 Rose Bowl to advance to the semifinals of the College Football Playoff.
Freshman WR Jeremiah Smith scored two receiving touchdowns, and senior RB TreVeyon Henderson added a pair of touchdowns on the ground to lead the Buckeyes in the rout.
The Buckeyes dominated Oregon in every phase of the game, jumping out to a 34-0 lead midway through the second quarter. The Ohio State defense sacked quarterback Dillon Gabriel eight times, and held the Ducks to negative-23 yards rushing.
